Like a lightning bolt, Volkswagen's return to the WRC scene struck this year. Latvala and Ogier secured the 2013 season for their bosses and we've seen dozens of flying or drifting photos of them in action. Time to buy a Polo?
Only if it's the 220 PS Polo R WRC for the street. The first Polo ever to be fitted with a 2-liter turbo engine in stock form is a limited edition, which means you're going to have to grab yours quick.

The tuners are ready to take your car and turn it into a monster, especially since they know everything about the engine, seeing as it's the same one used by the Golf GTI. ABT Sportsline already has the good and it presented them at the Essen Motor Show yesterday.

Through engine management and derestricted breathing, the Polo R has been taken from 220 PS to 290 PS. A top speed of 260 km/h is now ensured, faster than any supermini will ever dare to go.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
