Vossen Travels to Paris, Meets Up with Akrapovic 1M Coupe

During this year’s Vossen World Tour, the team arrived in Paris to shoot some of the most beautiful cars France has to offer, on Vossen Wheels, of course. If you expected a host of Peugeots, Citroens and Renaults, we’re sorry to disappoint you but we do have some German goodies, would you like to see?

Actually, there is such a big disparity between the French and German cars in this video that you’d think the World War II is happening all over again. Thankfully, it’s not the case.

Amongst them you can spot an Audi A5 a couple of Volkswagens (Beetle, Eos, Golf GTI) and, of course, a BMW. If you’re to ask us, the Bimmer is the headlight of the show, even though there’s also a Ferrari F430 in there.

That’s because the little bundle of craziness from Munich is probably both the fastest car here and the one that provides the biggest rush of adrenaline. With rear-wheel-drive, a twin-turbo inline 6-cylinder engine making 340 HP and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque and a perfect 50:50 weight distribution, this is something you want to drive.

On top of all that, this particular 1M is featuring Akrapovic’s Sport Evolution exhaust that manages to shed 16 kilograms of weight off the car’s total while also adding 15 HP and 19 Nm of torque, for a grand total of 355 HP and 519 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque.

To be fair, there was also a Renault Megane Cabriolet included in the set that represented France more than honorably (French flag included, hanging from the rearview mirror).
