Out of the plethora of tuners available out there, we have our own couple of favorites. There are traditional, ‘in-house’ tuners like Alpina, AC Schnitzer and Hamann but some new bloods as well, companies that proved their worth over and over again in the last few years.
One such company is Vorsteiner that can’t match the history behind all the other German tuners we talked about above but does have some rather interesting designs already for older models.
With the 2015 M3 and M4 just being delivered they didn’t waste no time and started working on a complete aerodynamic kit for them that will surely cause some waves in the BMW community.
Until the work on the new bits is over, the guys are teasing us with their first photos of an Austin Yellow on a set of Vorsteiner VSE-003 wheels measuring 20x10 inches up front and 20x11 at the back, with an awesome gunmetal finish on top.
Nothing else was changed but we think it was enough to make the car stand out, at least a little bit. In the future we’ll probably see some new front and rear bumpers, new side skirts, a vented hood and some other aerodynamic tweaks coming in from Vorsteiner.
On the 1 Series M Coupe and the E92 M3 Coupe their products nearly wrote history, being amongst the most popular choices in the BMW tuning community.
With a 3-liter twinturbo inline 6-cylinder engine under the bonnet, the new M3 and M4 could very well use some more downforce coming from aftermarket parts. The two can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in identical times at 4.1 or 4.3 seconds, depending on the transmission (the automatic 7-speed being the faster one, of course). Prices start at $62,000 for the M3 and $64,200 for the M4 and you can order and get one right now.
