Volvo V60 Polestar Flying at the Nurburgring

There are two sides to Swedish carmaker Volvo. There's the side that says it only wants to make hybrids and four-cylinder turbo engines, fitting them with more safety devices than the White House, and there's the side that does this.

By now, you've probably already head about the V60 Polestar. This hot estate model made its track debut at the Nurburgring a few days ago, basically letting the whole world know of its existence.

Now, we have a few more photos of the car, one of which showing the car with only one wheel on the ground. Nothing says commitment and car control like flying through the air in an estate.

So what is the V60 Polestar? Well, Polestar is a racing company who collaborated with Volvo on a number of project. They did a C30 AWD concept together, followed by one based on the S60 which was supposed to have 500 hp, but entered limited production with only 350.

Volvo already sells the V60 with the R-design body kit that looks similar to this and offers an engine remap that takes the T6 from about 300 to 330 hp.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
