Volvo V40 Completely Revealed in Leaked Photos [Updated]
We’ve already shown you the rear end of the V40, Volvo’s new C-segment contender with five doors. But now, thanks to some magazine scans scooped by autoblog.nl, we can show you the whole thing. It’s got a very interesting upward kink towards the back of the traditional ‘shoulder’ character lines, which exude strength and safety.
The V40 will reportedly be 4.5 meters in length and will be available with optional AWD. The engine range will be made up exclusively of four-cylinder units: a 1.4-liter and a 1.8-liter. The platform and engines will also be used for future Volvo models, namely the C40, S40 and XC40.
The Volvo V40 will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6th.
Update: Giving credit where credit is due
We were contacted by and editor from Auto Motor und Sport Swedan, and we were notified that the images from autoblog.nl were actually ‘stolen’ from their magazine. So, here is the original story, which you should diffidently check out.
