Volkswagen has announced that their total sales figure for the first eleven months of the year has increased by 10.4%, over last year’s numbers, as the Wolfsburg giant has managed to sell an impressive 8.29-million vehicles. Surprisingly, VW is one of the few brands who has also had a sales increase in Europe, even if it is by only 0.7%, they have still managed to sell 3.4-million units on the Old Continent since the start of the year, through November.
According to VW Sales Chief, Christian Klinger, “We have already delivered more vehicles after 11 months than during the whole of last year. That is an outstanding achievement, particularly in view of the continuing difficult situation on some European markets [ . . . ] Despite this year’s new delivery record we are already preparing for a very challenging year in 2013.

The North America has also been a big market for VW in 2012, as their sales in the region have risen by a very impressive 26.1% through November. They managed to shift 757,300 units, of which 534,000 went to the US, which recorded a 33.9% increase over 2011. Asia-Pacific sales also went up, by 19.5%, while sales in India only went up by 3.3%.
