Volkswagen’s new Cross Up! minicar will become available on the German market with prices starting from €13,950, the Wolfsburg-based automaker announced today.
Unveiled ahead of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Cross Up! comes with a more rugged appearance thanks to its black protective elements, larger alloy wheels, higher ride height, and roof rails. Inside, the puny crossover comes with a unique seat trim, chrome accents and leather-wrapped steering wheel, among other features.
Available in only five exterior colors, the Volkswagen Cross Up! is motivated by the same 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine fitted offered the regular Up!, which delivers 74 HP via a five-speed manual gearbox.
The Up! minicar is the fourth vehicle added to the company’s Cross range, after the Polo, Golf and the Touran.
