Most companies say their cheap sedan are designed for the younger generation, but Volkswagen USA says "bull, our Jetta and Passat buyers are over 30".
And if they're over 30, that makes them children of the 80s. So the latest commercial from Vdub features one of the biggest hit singles from that period, a-ha's Take On Me, which won six VMA in 1986.

"Volkswagen Feeling Carefree" is about a 30-something company man who's struck in meeting and doodles cartoon that look just like a-ha's almost two decade old music video. He even draws the famous wrench boss, which is a nice touch. 2 years free service doesn't sound that impressive nowadays, but VW's commercials are the best.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
