Vilner Transforms Interior of Mercedes-Benz GL [Photo Gallery]

If you live in Europe and want the interior of your already plush and luxurious car to be even more special, then you need to travel to Bulgaria, where Vilner will transform the inside of your car into anything you want - as long as it’s clad in leather.

This particular example, a Mercedes-Benz GL large SUV has had its interior completely reworked, to the customer’s specifications. The desire was to create a sensation of being cocooned and detached from the outside world, with the inside of the GL being a place of relaxation, comfort and high quality audio - this is achieved also by using a special soundproofing material all throughout the cab.

Vilner has removed the bench seat from the back, replacing it with a pair of GL front seats, which are completely functional (heating and electrical adjustment). The front center console has been extended into the back, where it now divides the rear space into two separate areas. The console is also home to an iPad which pivots so that it can be used with ease by any of the passengers.

The tablet controls a top-notch audio system, which features two subwoofers, three amps, an audio processor and a 31-band equalizer. To finish off the look of this one-of-a-kind interior, Vilner has replaced the headliner with tasteful brown suede, while all the plastic parts were painted white. Finishing off the interior ambiance is... ambient lighting which is installed under each seat.
