ViaTerra Claw, a Nice and Secure Light Touring Pack [Photo Gallery]

One of the nicest things about the ViaTerra Claw is the fact that it can be strapped securely to the rear of the bike and no matter how hard you'd ride, it won't come off. A 3-way securing strap system ties the Claw to the passenger footrests and the bike's tail, so it will not slide forward when braking hard.
The ViaTerra Claw is also recommended for trips in very rough terrain: top cases tend to vibrate excessively in such a scenario and could come off together with the mounting plate in the worst cases. A softbag strapped to the bike is however, impervious to all this hassle.
Meant for solo touring, the ViaTerra Claw offers 55 L (1.92 cf) of storage, is made of a very tough synthetic fabric and comes with a free rain cover. D-rings means you can also attach more gear to the ViaTerra Claw if need be.
Indian riders can get the ViaTerra Claw for the equivalent of $53 (€40), but we doubt this nifty touring pack will retail at this price if it ever makes it to Europe and North America. India-only or worldwide, the ViaTerra Claw makes a great touring accessory, especially as it works with almost any bike. Just make sure it does not catch fire due to touching the exhausts.
