Vauxhall Launches Entry-Level Ampera in UK

If you wanted to by a Vauxhall Ampera but didn’t want to pay one pence over thirty grand, now you can, as they have launched an entry-level version of the Ampera, which costs, just as you had hoped, five pounds short of thirty grand - £29,995 to be preciese.

What does the car lose in this transition? Well, the ‘Earth’ loses all forms of parking aid, heated seats and leather steering wheel and seats, as well as the sat-nav function for the 7-inch display, 30GB of storage and the Bose sound system. However, it still retains all the essentials, and the £4,000 you save over the top-of-the-range model will make you happy, as you still get all the good stuff included anyway.

The Ampera in both Vauxhall and Opel guises has made quite an impression in Europe, where it is the best selling ‘green’ car, with sales constantly increasing and its popularity ever-growing. This entry-level ‘Earth’ trim level just makes it an even better deal, we say!
