Meet the Vanhawks Valour, the bicycle of the future, the world’s first connected carbon fiber bicycle. While bikes with frames and wheels made from carbon fiber are nothing new, Valour is bringing quite a ton of new technology to the game.
Far more than being yet another ultralight hipster bike, the Vanhawks Valour brings in excellent on-street performance doubled with heart rate tracking capability, burned calories counter, security sensors, navigation, Bluetooh connectivity and haptic feedback for an even more secure ride. Sounds a bit crazy maybe, but it isn’t.

The frame is constructed with internal walls, unlike most other similar, but hollow designs, and this increases the strength of the frame for a more dependable ride in less-than-ideal conditions. Bar-mounted LED indicators provide riders with navigation info, as the Vanhawks Valour can obviously connect with your smartphone and receive GPS info. Blind spot sensors will send a vibration in the handlebars in care you’re getting too close to traffic approaching from behind, adding to the safety factor.

All Vanhawks Valour bikes are connected and will swap info when they “meet” on the street. In case yours gets stolen, you pass on the info across the network and you’ll receive a notification when another Valour rides close to your bike, helping you trace it down.

With APIs for iOS, Android and Pebble, the Vanhawks Valour has already gone past the Kickstarter goal, but you can still grab early bird deals. If someone in the motorcycle industry reads this, you should know we want such bikes, as well. And there's 3D Printing, too!
