Lamborghini used to have the world’s most famous test driver, in the form of the charismatic Valentino Balboni.
While Mr. Balboni still drives the creations of the Italian brand, he has recently decided to focus on other enterprises. His latest project is called “VB,” and is a company that will build and sell aftermarket products for Lamborghini models. The range will debut at Concurso Italiano, in Monterey Bay, California, on August 20, 2016.

The new company was first announced on Facebook, on Mr. Balboni’s account. Curiously, the website announced for the brand is down at the moment we are writing this story.

We hope the tech wizards behind his hosting company will fix the matter soon enough, so fans of the renowned Lamborghini test driver will have their chance to visit valentinobalboni.net, even for just a look at the available products.

The first product showcased by the new company is a titanium exhaust system created for the Aventador SuperVeloce LP-750. Valentino Balboni is holding the exhaust with ease, possibly to underline the fact that it will be as light as possible.

Considering it only weighs 6.3 kilograms (13.8 lbs.), we can understand that Balboni does not break a sweat from holding an exhaust system that bears his name.

According to the announcement referring to the launch of the brand, the new exhaust system should bring “a new dimension in sound,” which should probably mean this system will be as loud as legally allowed in most countries.

Balboni’s company will only make 30 units, and each of them wears the "VB logo," which comes with inspiration from two of the corners around Modena that were used by Balboni to test Lamborghini models.

Each exhaust system takes over 350 hours of work to complete, and you can understand why this happens by carefully observing its intricate shape and carefully arranged T.I.G. welds, which are masterfully finished. It fits the car using the OEM mounts, and no other modifications are required for fitment.

The price of such a system has not been revealed, but if you can afford a Lamborghini Aventador SV, you should not have to ask how much is a custom exhaust system that bears the name of Valentino Balboni, right?
