How often do you see Italian design next to British rigor? Almost never, some would say. However, there is a couple of places where boundaries pale in front of one primary interest and these usually have something to do with either the automotive spirit or the philanthropic one.
Sure, the Aston Martin Vanquish is famous for being the official James Bond car in Die Another Day. But this is the convertible, which is more about pleasurable strolls though the riviera than spirited driving.

Nevertheless, the 2-door grand tourer is one of Aston Martin’s most popular models so of course our petrolhead antennas started beeping when we heard its name.

It turns out the two luxury brands have come together to create this unique sportscar through its Q by Aston Martin bespoke service. The one of a kind breed will feature the Valentino Camouflage livery and is further embellished with the brand’s iconic studs. Why? For charity.

“I am excited that we have been able to bring together two lead partners for our 2015 event to create such an amazing vehicle and then for them to allow us to auction it to the benefit of our three charity partners - Shine On Sierra Leone, OrphanAid Africa and Sunbandila. To make the investment of time, money and creative energy and to produce a unique item is inspiring and truly embodies the spirit of Cash & Rocket and our ladies - don’t just be something, do something!" said Julie Brangstrup, CEO and Founder of the Foundation.

According to Cash & Rocket, the organization taking care of the auction, bidding will start at the charity’s opening Gala Dinner on May 14, in London, with the proceeds donated to the charities involved. Other than these aspects, not a lot of technical details were unveiled so far, but we can only assume we’re looking at keeper high-end collectors will most likely be interested in.
