V12 Lamborghinis Parade the Streets of Sant'Agata Bolognese

Lamborghini has released a clip of the parade of iconic Lamborghini V12 cars it had organized to mark the end of the production of the Murcielago on May 11, 2010. The event was celebrated in the factory on November 5, 2010 and on the streets of Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The parade was only as impressive as the names of the models attending: Miura, Countach, Diablo, 350 GT and a Murcielago SV, which was added to the Lamborghini Museum.

The Lamborghini Murcielago SuperVeloce has been unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, continuing the SV moniker that previously appeared on the Diablo SV in 1995 and on the Miura P400SV.

The supercar is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 delivering 670 horsepower at 8000RPM and 660Nm (490 lb-ft) of torque at 6500RPM. The LP670-4 SV comes standard with the LP640's optional six-piston caliper, 15-inch carbon-ceramic disc brakes, slowing black 18-inch wheels. The LP 670-4 SV is capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start in just 3.2 seconds and 9.7 seconds to 200 km/h (120 mph) Lamborghini claims the car can reach 342 km/h (213 mph).

The Diablo SV was introduced in 1995 at the Geneva Auto Show, reviving the Super Veloce title first used on the Miura SV. Being based on the standard Diablo, the model didn’t have four wheel drive, like the VT, meaning the handling was a bit more brutal. The SV had an increase in horsepower to 517 PS (380 kW; 510 hp), but, being only transmitted to the two wheels at the rear, could cause loss of traction during hard driving. With not much as a difference between the SV and the standard in terms of pricing, the SV lost its appeal in favor of the latter.

The Miura SV, or P400SV is the last and most famous version of the Miura, that added 15 horsepower to a total of 385 hp. Mechanical innovations, as well of the distinctive loss of its “eyelashes”, marked the differences between the SV and the standard version.
