Working for a Russian auto insurance must be quite entertaining. Seemingly every motorist there has a dashboard camera and some of the most remarkable videos have been submitted over the past year or so, and we suspect most are coming from insurance company employees.
Today’s submission is a bit of truck drifting action from a pro truck driver who unwillingly does a Russian road interpretation of Gymkhana. Following the mantra “a Lada in every Russian crash”, there’s a Niva driver who illegally crosses two or three lanes of traffic and a double line, forcing the truck driver to hit the brakes hard.
He manages to avoid the little SUV but the lighter trailer wants to step out. It looks the bed is a log carrier and likely doesn’t have antilock brakes. However, this Chuck Noris of truck drivers gets it right and nobody is hurt.
