The FAB Design Mercedes McLaren SLR is an excellent-looking modification pack for the standard SLR, bringing with it lots of carbon fiber parts, a wide body kit as well as engine upgrades, as part of a 15 unit limited series tuning program (three times more than the even more exclusive ‘Treso’).

First off, the gaping front bumper, modified and widened fenders and huge wing on the back immediately attract attention. However, according to the tuner, everything has a purpose on the car, improving the aerodynamics and air flow over the body. The exterior design is completed by a modern dark grey paint job, as well as special FAB design 20-inch wheels wrapped in sticky rubber.

In an effort to merit such extensive exterior mods, the engine has also been given a thorough going-over, boosting the car’s power from 626 hp, to a much more respectable 750 hp, slashing 0.2 seconds off the car’s 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time, and considerably improving in-gear performance.
