Read this: 1967 Triumph Spitfire MK3, 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback, 1981 DeLorean DMC, 1971 Volkswagen Beetle and 1970 Volkswagen Beetle. If you're a father, somebody may surprise you with one of these classic beauties on Sunday. Sure, you’re going to have to be in Lyon, France for it to happen.
Folks over at Wikipedia claim that Father’s Day is honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds and the influence of fathers in society. Apparently, many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday in June, as we do in the US. It’s the first time we learn France is among those countries, so we can’t but wish all the dads out there a happy birthday!

Sure, Father’s Day is not the only reason we are sending our best to French fathers, what Uber has planned for the day is too. Yes, we know, it’s average marketing, yet these vintage bad boys are something we’d definitely like to be chauffeured around in Lyon. The gig the ride sharing giant is doing is the result of a partnership they are running along Roadstr. The vintage car rental website is giving away five of their cars for an offer only available on June 21.

People will be able to choose one of the five breeds we listed above and enjoy a ride that will not last more than 30 minutes. Only one passenger is allowed per vehicle, and the vintage cars will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Did we mention the rides are free of cost?
