The Italians love making good compromises, and the Alfa Romeo 159 is one of the best examples. Sure, the front end makes it very un-aerodynamic, but when it was launched it looked way cooler than boring Germans saloons of its age.
This project comes not from an upstart tuner, but from Auto Avio Construzioni, and it puts the Alfa four-door in the best light possible. Carscoop reminds us that this is the second 159 tuned by the brand, though this has even more passion in its color.
The two-tone paintjob consists of an orange top portion setting off the dark gray bodywork, also embezzled with black stripes down the side. The grille and bar of the bumper have also been blacked out, giving it a strange retro look.
