Understandably so too, as these sort of scenes can usually be seen in action movies where the thieves are more than just cunning and the officers painted as completely stupid. This might’ve not been the case here but it’s still funny.

According to the early reports, the F31 3 Series Touring and the F11 5 Series Touring cars were driven by officers rushing to respond to a bank robbery alarm downtown that demanded all the available units. While their colleagues managed to reach the site safe and sound, they crashed on Memmelsdorfer road.

The police themselves said that no one was hurt in the process and that all four occupants of the cars are safe and sound thanks to the airbags and seat belts. According to the people involved directly, one of the drivers was distracted while another one had its sight hindered by a truck and... that’s how it all happened. All it took was a second of distraction.

The funniest part is that the whole thing was for nothing as the call proved to be a false alarm later on during the day. Talk about bad luck...
