The last-generation Audi TT is already available in a number of customized versions, but the folks over at mtm think they can raise the expectations with a new upgrade including various modifications and performance options. In essence, the tuning company modified the engine, the exhaust system, suspensions and brakes and installed a new body kit with 9-spoke bimoto high-performance alloy rims for a more aggressive and sporty appearance.
"Our aim is to extend the emotional appeal of the TT and create a vehicle as individual as you are," mtm said in a statement for the press.
The 2.0 TFSI quattro engine unit installed on Audi TT, together with the 6-speed S-tronic direct-shift gearbox delivers a maximum power of 279 kW (380 bhp) at 6240 rpm and torque of 494 Nm at 4580 rpm. The car is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 265 km/h (164.6 mph), but mtm says it could go even faster, depending on the tire size.
The car comes with a permanent all-wheel drive system, with 380 x 34 mm drilled, 8-piston Brembo-caliper brake system and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 245/30 ZR 20 wheels.
Unfortunately, the aftermarket model is not even closer to being affordable, as it can be purchased for 73,715 euros, with all modifications and installation included. The base price of the vehicle is 46,000 euros, with the 380 PS kit - like 330 PS kit with mtm exhaust manifold, turbocharger and air inlet sold for 17,000 euros. The mtm Brembo-brake system is sold for 5,500 euros, while the lowering springs cost 250 euros.
