Tulip is a 3-wheel Electric Scooter Perfect For Future Green Cities

The environment we live in has always been a source of inspiration for almost every man-made machine. Hell, they even built the world's tallest building by drawing inspiration from a flower - yes, it's Dubai's Burj Khalifa I'm hinting at here.

However, when it comes to car or motorcycles, nobody saw fit to learn a thing or two from a flower. That's until someone came up with the Tulip three-wheel electric scooter.

It's worth mentioning there's a lot of digital manipulation regarding this concept, but we don't mind. In fact, we love seeing how people imagine potential future mobility solutions in Pixel Land, so as a general rule, please keep them coming.

Now, back to the Tulip. It is the creation of designer Ognyan Bozhilov and according to Ecomento, the scooter can offer a maximum range of 60 miles (96 km) at speeds up to 50 mph (80 km/h).

In case you were wondering what that has to do with the flower-inspired name, here's the answer. The scooter was fitted with two wing-like protection shields that offer the rider some isolation from rain or any other elements. Also, these fold when the Tulip is not in use to protect the scooter's body.

Here's what the designer has to say about his creation:

"The Tulip is the ultimate vehicle for the modern city. It's ultralight, zero emission, small and nimble personal transportation machine that you can use in your everyday routine or for short recreational trips."

What do you think, would you see yourself driving one around a future green city?
