Triumph Speed Triple 1050 by FCR

Far from being a dull bike straight from the factory gates, the Triumph Speed Triple has come a long way from the earlier models, with the new 1050 machines raising the bar even higher as far as styling is concerned. And since a great bike can almost always become even greater when meeting the right customizer, here's FCR's take on the 1050.

Skilled in both minute, awesome details and is the subtleties bike customizing sometimes needs, the Frenchmen at FCR ditched the OEM headlight and installed an V-Rod-type headlight, seemingly a better fitment on such a bike.

The whole supporting structure of the front end was made in-house, for both headlight and instrument cluster, and this freedom allowed a more extreme approach. We were delighted to see the golden mirror trim on the headlight assembly.

The stunning racey paint scheme belongs to FCR, just like the license plate holder and the breathtaking golden mirror paint on the Mirra rims, the limited-edition MV Agusta way. The rear rim looks almost organic and is a fantastic match with the unique flowing lines of the Triple's frame.

LSL and Rizoma sourced various bits and pieces of the hand and foot controls, while Goodridge aircraft-grade hoses were used for the brake lines. The Arrow slip-on silencer is loaded at the end of matching custom headers, also made by FCR.

With no hacking through the bike, FCR managed to add a nifty touch of different styling to the Triumph Speed Triple 1050, and the result is both very aggressive and sleek.
