Transgender Rider Chooses All-Female Team for the 24 Hours Le Mans
Agnes Dupuy is a French lady who has already made a name in endurance racing, and for the next 24 Hours Le Mans race she is bringing in a 4-rider line-up on two Suzuki GSX-R machines: Steffie Naud, Amandine Creusit, Caroline Locussol and Erika Jeannot.
There is something worthy of mentioning about the last rider: she was formerly known as Eric Jeannot, a male motorcycle rider. According to MotorBiker, Erik even managed to do quite well in several races, prior to his decision to switch to the other gender side.
There may have been other transsexuals in motorcycle racing, but Erica is the first one we know of. This may spring up a discussion on what side should transgenders be racing for, and for the better, if you ask us. Anyway, Le Mans 24H has instantly become more interesting.
