It looks like automotive producers are finally starting to pay attention to the consumers’ needs when it comes to design. We’ve recently reported that Audi is working to redefine its visual identity and now Toyota comes with a similar move.

While Audis are known for being too cold and similar to each others, Toyota’s design issue is related to the lack of appeal. Well, according to autocar, the Japanese automotive producer is planing to reinvent its design language. Tokuo Fukuichi, who has been asked personally by company president Akio Toyoda to take over the design department, told the aforementioned source that the only requirement for the design of Toyota’s future cars is “to be cool”.
