Tetsuya Tada, Toyota’s Chief Engineer for the development of the GT 86 sports coupe, was on hand at the Geneva Motor Show to explain his ‘baby’. For whatever reason, at the Swiss venue he chose to speak about the car in English.
Now, when German engineers don’t know proper English, they stick to their mother tongue. But we’re glad that Tada-san chose not to do this, because otherwise we wouldn’t have heard “everybody can be a big smile” in an official statement!
