text size: A- A+
The Toyota 86X was already used in the Gatebil drift event that was recently held in Norway and the vehicle is also set to participate in multiple European drift events with Frederic Aasabo behind the wheel.
The 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine of the car has been replaced with a 2JZ-GTE Toyota Supra turbocharged unit, with the car offering two versions of the engine. The first allows the driver to control 648 hp, while the second delivers no less than 811 hp.
Further down the power line, we find an ACT flywheels, an Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) triple disc racing clutch, as well as a Mid-Valley gearbox and a Drivershaft Shop rear axle. The vehicle also gets a KW suspension, as well as other special drift tech goodies that range from steering parts and an increased track to custom controls in the cabin.
