UPDATE: Top Gear Series 22 Episode 10 Pulled, Replaced by Caribbean with Simon Reeve

Remember how Top Gear UK mag assured us that the current series’ episode 8 has been postponed “following an incident during production?” Well, Radio Times has grimmer news for fans of the most widely watched factual programme… in the world - episode 10 has been pulled from the TV schedules.

According to draft schedules that circulated among the broadcasters, the Radio Times is writing that “the last episode in the 22nd series of the motoring show, which was due to air at 8pm on March 29, has been replaced by the second programme in a documentary series about the Caribbean, featuring Simon Reeve.”

SPOILER ALERT: we know that Top Gear episode 8 comprises of the trio going for a drive in the countryside in classic rag tops (Fiat 124 Spider, MG B GT, Peugeot 304 Cabriolet), as well as reviews of the Subaru WRX STi and VW Golf R. As for the penultimate episode, the Top Gear trio have purchased second-hand SUVs on the cheap to see who got the best deal. Also, Jezza tests a trio of luxurious limousines on the Top Gear test track at the Dunsfold Aerodrome.

Instead of Top Gear S22E08, BBC2 aired a repeat of the Red Arrows: Inside the Bubble this past Sunday. As for S22E09, this episode was due to be aired this weekend, but was postponed after the fracas incident.

Regarding Top Gear S22E10, which should have featured a Ferrari LaFerrari vs McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 Spyder showdown... and other stuff, the final episode might never ever happen. The BBC2’s draft schedules point out that on March 29, Caribbean with Simon Reeve will be aired in its place. Boo and hiss!

On an ending note, the Radio Times writes that “the broadcaster [BBC] refused to confirm that the final episode in the series would be axed.”

UPDATE:
James May's Twitter account description reads "Former TV presenter, only remembered for saying 'Oh cock.' Or was that the other bloke?"

UPDATE 2: Jeremy Clarkson: "I'll do one last lap of Top Gear track before f****** b******* sack me."
