Top Condition Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 Pickup Waiting for You

Life at the farm can be tough and for that you’ll need tough machinery to move things around. Although Toyota offers plenty of solutions for that with its current models, wouldn’t it be nice to have your own 1965 pickup truck that works and drives perfectly?

People around town will surely raise an eyebrow when you’ll park this Toyota FJ45 pickup next to the store to buy some fertilizer. It’s pretty rare and there’s also another interesting thing about it - no rust.

This 1965 Toyota Land Cruiser pickup spent most of its life in Arizona, which means it hadn’t had contact with humidity, therefore it never developed rust. Still, the owner commenced a six-month frame off restoration to make it suitable for another decade of use, or maybe more.

The whole body has been repainted with the factory Horizon Blue, bed liner included, all the work being done by a professional shop. The interior followed the same recipe and the car also comes now with power steering.

Underneath the hood you’ll find a later 2F engine making 135 hp. Not a huge amount of power, but it sure is better than the 105 hp or so 1F engine. Drivability has also been increased by coupling the new engine with a 4-speed gearbox.

Oh and if you think the lack of air conditioning will make you roast inside the metal cabin like a turkey during summer, this is the convertible pickup model. The roof, doors and rear cabin panel can be ditched. Same goes for the windshield which can be folded to feel the wind and the bugs in your face.

You can bid for the truck here, as well as check for additional details.
