TomTom Goes Looney Tunes
True to its habit, TomTom announced this week the addition of the voices which enchanted our childhood to the lineup of famous characters giving life to your GPS. The company will begin the Looney Tunes invasion with the arrival of Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam (already available for download), followed by Daffy Duck and Sylvester in October and Pepe le Pew one month later.
“Ehh, what's up Doc? Lookin' lost behind the wheel, ain'cha? Throw a wabbit a carrot and he'll show ya the way to Albuquerque or wherever ya wanna go!” says Bugs Bunny, happy to have been drafted to sit right next to Yoda and Darth Vader.
Yosemite Sam however is not all that happy (then again, he never is): "In 300 yards, keep to the left, driver — or I'll plum perforate you!"
The tunes are available for download from the following link. TomTom will charge $12.95 for each voice, but we reckon they're worth the money. After all, your kids will to hear their favorite character giving you a piece of their mind every time you screw up behind the wheel of the family car.
"The Looney Tunes will make any journey more entertaining with their irreverence and fun-loving nature," said Karen McTier, Warner Bros. Consumer Products vice president of domestic licensing and worldwide marketing.
That's all, folks!
