Nissan is using the Tokyo Motor Show to prove that vans aren’t necessarily dull creation that only serve an A to B transportation purpose, with the company introducing the NV350.
The light commercial van comes with car-like styling which is wrapped around a cargo area that has been enlarged for van applications and offers multiple seating configurations for passenger versions such as the one we have here (Caravan). The paint you see in the adjacent images is called Deep Tiger Eye Brown.

Nissan brags that the vehicles’ engines (which include diesels on some markets), together with its automatic transmission, have been optimized in order to deliver a higher level of efficiency

The interior comes with a high level of functionality and offers interesting features, such as rear view camera display included in the instrument panel. For this generation, Nissan has moved the parking brake to the floor, while the gearshift lever is now on the dash.

In addition to this, the Nissan NV350 comes with a keyless ignition system, a world first for a commercial vehicle. The vehicle will be launched on multiple markets, with the Japanese showrooms set to welcome the model in summer 2012.
