There's a lot going on in Thailand at the moment, with the military takeover and all. If nothing is done, the country's once mighty tourism industry could be forever damaged and all the people eating Thai will go back to Chinese as a sign of protest.
Every little bit helps and today we're doing our part by adding an important sight to "visit" when in Thailand: ducks.
The streets were awash with thousands of souls last week, not of angry protesters, but of birds walking in perfectly orchestrated unison. Like a Hitchcock movie, you get the feeling that they could trample an innocent bystander who's foolish enough to anger them. But you'd forgive them because ducks are so much cuter than crows.
As far as the eye can see, countless brown birds walk along to the sound of their own quacking. Powerless to do anything, motorists are forced to shut the engines of their cars and wait for two whole minutes while the flock passes. Their only other choice: duck and cover!
This duckpocalypse is the type of video that needs no explanation, but we still have one. Duck herding is very common in Thailand because… they taste good with soy sauce.
Editor's note: Can't tell if they're ducks or small brown geese. What matters is they have beaks and they're funny!
