This Picture of Horacio Pagani and Valentino Balboni in a Huayra Is Priceless

Nobody actually needs a reminder when it comes to how much the Italians have mattered for our exotics and yet the pic above serves as a perfect example of this.

Ladies and gentlemen drivers, this is the Italian supercar industry at its purest, without any intervention for outside. Yes, you are right, the Pagani Huayra in the image holds its creator, Horacio Pagani on its passenger’s seat, while sitting behind the wheel we have Lamborghini’s now-retired chief test driver, Valentino Balboni - you know, the guy that had a Gallardo converted to rear-wheel drive, named after him and then sold as a special edition.

In fact, when it comes to the retirement part, Balboni is more or less suitable for such a tag. While he no longer leads the testing offensive (due to the Italian law), the man continues to attend various Raging Bull-related events and we’re not talking about the Pamplona Bull Run here.

As for Horacio, we really don’t see how the man could retire. The Argentinian-born is now leaving his dream and, as you are reading that, is working on multiple projects. Ah yes, with the Huayra now unleashed upon us all, Pagani is currently on track of offering us the Roadster incarnation of the hypercar.

And let’s not forget about the Huayra Nurburgring Edition, which we last seen engine testing around AMG’s Affalterbach headquarters in Germany. And this is how, once again, we end up talking about Germany.
