Toyota UK’s Smart Cover plan is a neat little service that’s meant to give you the mind peace you need while using the city’s busiest streets. It’s basically an extra insurance policy you can choose that handles minor bodywork damage repairing without affecting your main insurance.
After you sign up and pay the fee, you’re granted up to £3,000 per year that can be claimed to repair the damage. How it works? Pretty simple.
There is no paperwork and endless waiting times to make your claim. When you find your car damaged, you just give a phone call to the company, snap them a picture with the damage and they’ll dispatch a van with professional technicians.
The neat thing is that those technicians will come and repair your car while you’re in the office at work, or at home. They simply pull up to you, deploy an on-site paint booth around your car, prepare it for the job and correct the damage. They even have a powerful baking lamp to make sure the paint is dried up before leaving.
