This Dutchman Really Loves His 200 HP Transit Van [Video]

The bond between a man and his van is well known around the world. The modern-day van is the equivalent of the horse used before motorized vehicles were available. This Dutchman really loves his 2010 Ford Transit, which features the top-of-the-range 3.2-liter five-pot diesel.

We were amazed just how fast the 200 hp and 470 Nm really make the Transit. It would definitely keep up with warm hatches as it reaches 100 km/h in around 11 seconds - extreme performance for a van. However, in-gear performance would definitely leave many cars behind, as that hefty 470 Nm figure has no trouble moving the bluff-sided Transit along.

We have also added another video of a man taking his transit to its top speed, as well as doing several acceleration runs and it really made us want to all get vans and drive them around like we stole them. The cops would have a lot of trouble keeping up, anyway!
