Third-Generation Ford Focus RS Will Have 335 HP
For a while, we thought it wasn't going to happen any more, but a recent report from German publication Autobild suggests otherwise. The new Focus RS is coming in 2015, two years from now and four years into the MkIII's life.
It will have a 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbo engine of course, as most rumors seem to indicate, but instead of offering 305 PS like the old Focus RS, this new one will have 335 PS.
With this much power on tap, all-road 4x4 is going to be added to keep the power in check. This will increase the price of the model to about €40,000. Even at that level, it's going to be a performance bargain in our eyes.
