The Third Fastest-Selling Car in the US Is the Toyota Prius

In a recent study by cars.com, they have gathered sales data from April and have compiled a list of the fastest selling cars in the US. From the study, it has become apparent that Americans love their SUVs, though they have moved to more sophisticated European models.

The fastest selling car of them all is the US-built BMW X3, taking an average of 4 days for one to sell. It is followed by its bigger brother, the X5, which also takes an average of 4 days to sell. Third on the list is the Prius with one being sold once every 5 days - impressive!

It is very clear that the market for the Prius, and hybrids in general, is very dynamic and competitive and there is a high possibility of it becoming the fastest selling car in the US, with an extra ‘shove’ in the back by Toyota’s marketing gurus.
