The Tattoo on My Racing Suit

Great news motor fans! It's now possible to ride your bike with more style than ever, and you don't even have to be dressed up in a tuxedo to manage that. Italian designer and manufacturer Dainese has just cooked up a new special breed of suits.

This is not your average, over-the-counter model, this has got some major workmanship invested in it. The special design is called Tattoo Ykz. and as you might have guessed already, it's inspired by the art of Asian tattoos.

It looks very cool apart from the fact that it's a professional racing suit, meaning that you can take out on the track any day and race with all the other boys who will probably be jealous. On the front and the back of the suit you can see ancient Samurai prints combined with intricate Maori designs.

These white drawings are very well highlighted on the black leather background of the costume. The idea and the design come from Australian artist Luca Ionesco and at the moment Dainese is the only distributor.

The manufacturing process is more intricate than we can explain here, but we can reveal that it involves technologically advanced laser system along with a combination of white kangaroo skin and Lorica.

For this reason alone, you should be ready to pay a hefty sum of money just to be able to wear the suit. In order to purchase, you have to have to register online. But rest assured, just because it looks awesome it doesn't mean that's not safe. The Tattoo Ykz. is more than capable to withstand any endurance test and is fitted with the same safety devices as all other professional suits.

As an added bonus, the owner will get a booklet that demonstrates the philosophy of the Tattoo Project and the possibility to customize it your with your own name laser cut into the leather.
