Not sure if you guys are following US moto vloggers over on Youtube, but if you do, you can easily tell most of them ride in suburbs or small cities/towns with very little traffic. If you ask me, that’s a key factor for yapping about stuff while riding, because intense traffic really does take a lot of concentration as this guy here shows.
Driving around in Manhattan must be the ultimate nightmare for a motorist. Gridlocks at rush hour, shortage of north-south avenues and the fact that almost 90% of the freight goods entering New York City arrive by truck are enough reasons to make you leave your car at home.

Thought about taking the subway instead? Well, a study showed subway delays in 2015 went up by 23.3% during weekdays and 30.3% during weekend compared to 2014. So what else is left for going to and back from work? A motorcycle you would say, but that might not be a good idea.

This guy in the video is among the brave motorcyclists who decided to have a go through Manhattan on his BMW S1000R and, apparently, having a bike isn’t going to help you much.

Gridlocks forming every day during rush hours means you don’t have many streets left where you can ride freely and you’ll most likely have to squeeze yourself around cars through whatever space there’s left in between while crawling at a very boring speed.

Add in a lot of jaywalkers that suddenly appear in front of your bike from in between the sitting traffic and you’ll probably end up having a nervous breakdown. Oh, parking appears to be a problem too, as the video will show at some point. Anyway, kudos to the rider for taking us through a virtual ride in one of the words worst traffic.
