If we were on a highway to hell, we rocked our way through the gates of misery with this machine and still get out safe and sound. Since Labor Day weekend is not here, however, we’re not hitting the road towards Wasteland just yet. Instead, we’d like to present you the real life Batmobile you probably played with already if you’re one of the 2015 video game’s fans.
The game was released worldwide on June 23, which to this editor was like the perfect gift since that’s when my birthday also is. Sure, I will not go all bias with you people, there are other video games out there worth mentioning, such as the fresh Mad Max for instance. The apocalyptical machines that roar through the desert in the hopes to finally catch Mad Max are quite exciting, but there’s nothing like the Batmobile, is there?

In the new Batman game, the Batmobile becomes a drivable vehicle. The bulletproof hero car can be summoned to the player’s location while on foot or, if the player is airborne, sent to meet Batman as he lands. It is capable of doing jumps, speed boosts, rotate on the spot, smash through objects like barricades and trees, and fire missiles that can immobilize enemy vehicles. Sure, that’s what we call the stock model since further upgrades can be applied throughout the game.

Forgive our daydreaming here, and let us get back to the real-life West Coast Customs have created along with Precision Board Plus. The creators of the Batmobile featured in Batman: Arkham Knight have recently unveiled further details regarding the manufacturing process. The beast does look quite frightening on the outside, but we’ll tell you it’s, in fact, made of high-density urethane. Here’s more to it:

Using PBLT-10, West Coast Customs machined this 15ft wide, 23.5ft long, and 9ft tall Batmobile that was first displayed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, 2014. While stunning to the average viewer, it is even more impressive knowing the intricate detail that went into this piece.”

We’ll leave you with the adjacent pictures taken while the car was being created; you’ll be the judge of its greatness.
