While the current owners of Saab seem to be struggling to get production going again, they have decided to sell off a few unique cars they had lying around - the last cars to roll off the Trollhatten production line, in Sweden. The cars, 68 in total, include 18 9-5 SportCombi (estate) models, which never had a chance to reach the showroom floor.
Other notable appearances inclde two Independence Edition 9-3 convertibles, which were built to celebrate the Swedish automaker’s first year of ‘independence’, 29 of the 54 facelifted 2012 model-year 9-5 sedan models, 10 of their 9-4X crossovers, as well as a somewhat historic car - the last 9-5 to roll off the production line. Also, former Saab boss Victor Muller’s V6-powered 9-5 Aero is also up for grabs, and is arguably the most interesting car in the lineup.

They will also sell off some of the cars used for testing, cars which are by no means in peak mechanical condition, and may require some repairs - still, it will be an interesting conversation topic, if one were to purchase one of these particular examples. Still, we hope production recommences so that architects won’t be forced to buy BMWs.
