May 2013 will see the first-ever AMD Championship of Custom Bike Building to be held in Europe, in Essen, Germany, as a part of the Big Bike Europe event. With more than three months remaining, the organizers have already been forced to expand the exhibitor's area because of the huge number of bikes entered in the competition.
Championship Director Neil Blaber declares that more than 100 bikes from 22 countries have already been entered, with remaining room for another 15 or so exhibitors. Blaber adds that such a big popularity for the very first European event is even greater, as the Championship is also celebrating the 10th anniversary this year.

The upcoming 2013 edition has already shown an “unprecedented level of participation in the history of the World Championship program," Blaber adds. We 're also looking forward to see the top builders in the world battle at such a high level on European grounds, especially with German manufacturer Thunderbike having earned the 1st prize in the 2012 Freestyle category.
