The First Down Pipes for 2015 BMW M3 and M4 Models Come from Gintani

Gintani has been apparently working day and night on bringing the first down pipes for the 2015 BMW M3 and M4 models to the market. They finally did it and are now reaping the results of their hard work.

Their parts are made in the USA, as all of their parts are, out of US 304 Stainless steel and they are hand welded with an adjacent lifetime warranty on all welds.

According to them, their catless pipes will improve the throttle response of your car and further reduce any sort of turbo lag you might be experiencing. Of course, they are plug and play, with a perfect fit and space for O2 sensors.

Their early tests on the dyno showed even more advantages. The power gains simply blew us away, posting, on average, 23 more HP and 35 lb-ft of torque (47 Nm) than the stock models. The biggest increase was noticed at the top end.

Unfortunately, they are catless and will affect your car’s CO2 emissions. That means they are not legal in the US for public road usage. In case a cop pulls you over, you’ll probably pass the sniffer test but in case of a professional test, things won’t go too well.

However, if you’re one that lives on the more ‘dangerous’ side of things, you’ll probably go for them. The price asked by Gintani at the moment is $1,195 (plus shipping) which is not a lot considering they are the first ones to come out with such a product and the power/torque gains you’ll get. Pre orders are open now.
