Tesla to Build Factories in Europe, Asia

The new facilities will help Tesla increase its yearly production as the automaker wants to build more Model S sedans and introduce a smaller and cheaper mass-market electric vehicle.
“We’ll try to locate those close to where people are, close to where the customers are, to minimize the logistics costs of getting the car to them,” the Tesla co-founder Elon Musk told Bloomberg. “I think long term you can see Tesla establishing factories in Europe, in other parts of the U.S. and in Asia.”
In addition, our source also revealed that Tesla has already filed an application with the United States Patent and Trademark office to use the Model E name for an automobile.
Earlier this moth, Tesla Motors delivered its for Model S EV in Europe. The vehicle was acquired by Frederic Hauge, who picked up his sedan at the company’s new showroom in Oslo.
