A “brand new” Tesla Model X P90D Signature with only 500 miles (804 km) on the odometer is now for sale. Until now, nothing out of the ordinary. The “huge” downside is that the owner is asking $215,000, or $80,800 more than he originally paid for it. And no, the seller is not a well-known celebrity that signed on it, he’s just an ordinary man selling his car.
So why the stiff price? Well, since there are more than 40,000 Model X reservation holders and the car in question is a special edition, the owner thought to take advantage of this, and maybe a desperate buyer who can’t wait any longer for his new Model X would pay him the exorbitant price.

The reason the owner wants to sell his 500 miles Model X is because he doesn’t need a crossover right now, raising the question why he bought it in the first place?

Moving on, the car has no problems, dents or scratches, according to the seller’s description. It is finished in Signature Red color and features an Autopilot, Six Seat Interior, Performance All Wheel Drive, Premium Interior Lighting, Black Nappa Leather interior and Black Alcantara headliner, Obeche Wood Matte, Ultra High Fidelity Sound Package, Smart Air Suspension, 3rd row seats, Supercharger enabled, Subzero weather package and 20-inch wheels, as seen on Panjo.

Judging by the fact that the ad has been listed for two weeks now, it’s hard to think anyone would contact him as long as he doesn’t lower the price, but you never know.

The Tesla Model X Signature edition comes with an EPA-estimated range of 240 miles (386 km) and has a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). The SUV-ish model sprints from a standstill to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds, which is quite surprising given that an Audi R8 Spyder GT powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine needs a similar time for the same feat.
