After Elon Musk personally presented the world with the 691 horsepower Tesla Model S P85D in October 2014, the Palo Alto-based company prepares to ramp up production capabilities at its Fremont plant before first deliveries of the Model X crossover start this fall.

At the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Panasonic booth was beatified by an example of the dual-engined, all-wheel drive model, but this is not actually the production-ready Tesla Model X. More specifically, this is an older prototype which was displayed a couple of times last year, including the Model S P85D’s launch event in October.

The uploader of the YouTube video attached below tells in the clip’s description that the Model X from CES is a “great electric car with Panasonic batteries built in and amazing distance on one charge.” Aaa, what? Right now there’s no no official data on the range of the Tesla Model X, buddy.

I really hate this kind of automotive click bait junk, but the clip is worthy to share with you guys. Do expect both the headlight and taillight clusters to be mildly different on the real thing. As for the cabin, the design of the air vents is also something that’s worthy of a little visual touch up.

The Tesla Model X is going to use pretty much the same powertrains as the Model S 85D and P85D
More specifically, that's two electric motors pushing 564 horsepower and 691 horsepower, respectively, all-wheel drive, cool Falcon (gull wing style) doors, seven seats, a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) and a $90,000-plus (that’s 76,080 euros at current exchange rates) base price including incentives.

If you plan to reserve a 2016 Tesla Model X, we have to point out two things to you: Tesla charges $5,000 as reservation payment, while the estimated delivery date  is “early 2016” for newcomers.

In the gallery below the vid, there’s a pic which shows the range of the prototype Model X: 237 miles (381 km) at roughly 80 percent capacity, which is pretty close to the Model S 85D’s 270-mile (434 km) range.
