Besides supercars, there aren't many cars out there capable of squeezing your chest with G forces once the one behind the wheel takes the accelerator all the way down to the metal. At least, not sedans.
Maybe the 707-horsepower Dodge Charger Hellcat can brag with this kind of behaviour, but here comes the Tesla Model S P90D with the already very popular Ludicrous Mode.
It's not the first time we're showing you a video where the EV's Ludicrous Mode is put to the test, but this time we're talking about two clips and they're all about passenger reaction to Tesla P90D's Ludicrous Mode launch.
So if you thought the driver's vocal performance in this video was delightful, then you must watch the videos below, where two guys are recorded while the driver is having fun with the accelerator.
Naturally, we won't describe the videos below because we hate spoilers too.
However, we'll just mention the reactions are somewhat typical for a 762-horsepower electric sedan that can make your stomach, kidneys and other internal organs move a few centimeters as it blasts from a standstill to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.8 seconds.
As a reminder, Tesla Model S P85D customers can upgrade to P90D, but that decision will leave them without $13,000.
In case you want to know what this kind of money stands for, we can tell you the amount is split between $3,000 for the 90 kWh battery and $10,000 for the Ludicrous speed goodies. As for the price of the P90D, the version starts at $118,000 and goes as high as $145,000.
