The National Highway Trafic Safety Administration is still investigating the Tesla fires, but, meanwhile, a conclusion on the matter has arrived from Europe.
Germany’s federal transport agency, KBA, has looked into the Tesla Model S. They’ve come to the conclusion that this shows no manufacturer-related defects.

Returning to the NHTSA investigation, the specialists are looking to find out how road debris striking the battery pack can influence the later’s behavior, as this was linked to the two fires that took place in the US.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is confident the NHTSA investigation will come to a good conclusion. Tesla shares climbed 17 percent to $144.7 after the news, helping the company after the previous fire news obviously brought the share level down.
