If you were thinking of buying an Alfa Spider (convertible or coupe) this is the time to do it, because this Italian model has just received a new engine, the 200 hp 2.4 JTDM. By the looks of it, this powerful engine is now available on all Alfa Spider models and comes together with a sporty 6 speed gearbox. At first, the new Alfa Spider motor will be available only in Italy and Germany (probably Alfa Romeo' s biggest markets). This will happen in mid February of this year, and after a short period to test the market response or whatever, they will also make it available to the rest of Europe.
