We were so focused on the new Porsche 911, and the upcoming Turbo version that’s still about a year away from being released that we forgot that the current version still has a lot to offer.
Introducing the power kit from German tuner TechArt, which has managed to boost the 3.8-liter boxer engine to a massive 700 horsepower.
To put the extra 200 horsepower into perspective, that’s about as much kick as the new Lamborghini Aventador has, and should be enough to scare hypercars from 10 years ago into losing their old in a drag race.
The TechArt 911 Turbo is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds, while the 0 to 200 km/h (0 to 124 mph) sprint takes only 9.0 seconds. Push the pedal all the way to the floor and shift through all the gears and you’ll find yourself hitting a top speed of 352 km/h (218 mph).
